These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions or your use of our website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Reservation Terms & Conditions

The terms below apply to all reservations made directly with Klipkopje Farm.

By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

We reserve the right to amend these terms from time to time without prior notice.

Rates

All rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.

Rates are subject to change without notice until a reservation has been confirmed and the required deposit has been received.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

No refunds will be issued for:

  • No-shows

  • Late arrivals

  • Early departures

  • Unused nights

Klipkopje Farm cannot be held responsible for transport delays, airline cancellations or any circumstances beyond our control that may affect your travel plans.

Changes to Arrival Dates

We will always endeavour to accommodate requests to change confirmed arrival dates, subject to availability.

Once alternative dates have been confirmed, the new reservation will become subject to these Terms & Conditions, including the applicable cancellation policy.

Check-in & Check-out

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Check-in: From 2:00 pm

  • Check-out: By 10:00 am

Early arrivals and late departures may be accommodated by prior arrangement and are subject to availability.

Occupancy

Only the number of guests confirmed at the time of booking may occupy the accommodation.

Additional guests may only be accommodated with prior written approval and may incur additional charges.

The Farm

Klipkopje Farm is a working farm, and guests acknowledge that livestock, wildlife, farm vehicles, uneven terrain, dams and natural features form part of the environment.

Guests are asked to enjoy the farm responsibly and remain mindful of their own safety at all times.

Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians throughout their stay.

Guest Responsibilities

We kindly ask all guests to treat the accommodation, furnishings and surrounding environment with care and respect.

Guests may be held responsible for any loss, excessive cleaning, breakages or damage caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear.

Should any issue arise during your stay, please notify us as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to resolve it.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that guests arrange comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Cancellation or interruption of travel

  • Medical expenses

  • Personal injury

  • Loss or theft of luggage and personal belongings

  • Any other unforeseen travel circumstances

Responsibility

While every reasonable care is taken to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay, guests enter and use the property entirely at their own risk.

Klipkopje Farm, its owners, employees and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, illness, accident, loss, theft or damage to persons or personal belongings occurring during your stay, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under South African law.

Guests are expected to follow all reasonable instructions provided for their own safety.

Force Majeure

Klipkopje Farm shall not be liable for any delay, interruption or inability to fulfil a reservation resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather

  • Flood, fire or natural disaster

  • Power failures

  • Government restrictions

  • Civil unrest

  • Industrial action

  • Pandemic or epidemic

  • Any other force majeure event.

Privacy

Your personal information is collected, processed and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By making a reservation or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy.
