While the tent has been thoughtfully designed with beautiful finishes, luxurious linen and everything you need for a memorable stay, it's important to remember that this is still a working farm—not a five-star resort. Nature sets the pace here, and that's exactly what makes it so special.

You'll wake to birdsong instead of traffic, share the landscape with grazing wildlife, and occasionally encounter the realities of life in the countryside. There is no Wi-Fi, no backup power during load shedding or outages, and no endless schedule of activities. Instead, you'll find quiet mornings, long walks, afternoons spent swimming in the dam, evenings around the fire, outdoor showers beneath the trees and some of the clearest star-filled skies you'll ever see.

Klipkopje is a place to switch off from the constant demands of everyday life. We invite you to put your phone away, breathe a little deeper, slow your pace and reconnect—with nature, with the people you're sharing the experience with, and perhaps most importantly, with yourself.

One of the joys of staying at Klipkopje is travelling light. We've thoughtfully equipped the tent with almost everything you'll need, so we encourage guests to pack simply and embrace the slower pace of farm life.

There are no wardrobes or cupboards in the bedroom—this is an intentional design choice to keep the space feeling open, uncluttered and connected to nature. A small overnight bag or carry-on with your clothing and daily essentials is all you'll need. (Of course, you'll still bring along your food and drinks for your stay.)

We provide luxurious linen, bath and swimming towels, shower amenities, a hairdryer, kitchen essentials, tea and coffee, salt and pepper, and complimentary firewood.
